2020 and 2021 have proven themselves to be years of adaptation. They will forever carry the history of words and phrases such as: COVID-19, coronavirus, unprecedented, quarantine, social distancing, remote access, Zoom (and Zoom fatigue), unemployment ... and so many more. And OCRA is here to help start your 2022 off in the right direction, but we need YOU!
OCRA continues to explore opportunities for our members and our profession, opportunities which allow you to thrive during this time. From seeking legal guidance and an opinion regarding your ability to administer oaths remotely to having an OCRA representative serve on an Ohio Supreme Court advisory group tasked with developing specific recommendations as to how Ohio could safely resume jury trials, OCRA and your colleagues have been hard at work.
Many OCRA memberships are set to expire on December 31, 2021. We hope you will consider remaining a part of OCRA and renew your membership today. If you are not a member, please join your association right here in Ohio.
Thank you for your support of OCRA. Your membership is an investment in your family. "Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much." (Helen Keller)
For your convenience, there are a few options to renew your membership or join OCRA below.
I look forward to seeing you at the 2022 Annual Conference scheduled to take place March 25-27 at the Renaissance Columbus Westerville-Polaris. Stay safe and Happy Holidays to each of you!
Sincerely,
2020-2022 OCRA President Tammy McGhee
